Thank you Jack and Montserrat! Jack's Seafood delivered beautiful,carefully handled seafood for paella. The spiny lobster and the whole prawns smelled of fresh ocean spray. The snook and lobster heads were reduced to a rich fumet with garlic, onions, leeks, carrots, tomatoes and white wine. The rice cooked in the explosive flavor and aroma of the broth. Guests were mute throughout the meal, delighted in the depth and complexity of flavors and aromas.

If you love really fresh fish prepared as only a master chef can prepare it, and you want to invite someone who thinks they DON’T like fish, this is the place to take that person to lunch. This is truly fresh fish, not fresh thawed. Don’t expect a fancy ambiance, just terrific food. And be sure to try one of the ceviches. I chose the ceviche Tico thinking it would be just plain ceviche and it was surprisingly and inexplicably special.
