This place is a must!!!!! The staff is super friendy really kind and helpfull. The menu is filled with so many yummy options, we had the beef tacos, bean burger and ceviche, let me tell you the tast was perfect ohhhhhhhhh and i must thank the chef for that wonderful chocolate lovers cake best i have ever tried

This is the best taco bar in Tamarindo in our minds... Lucky to have had it recommended and went twice during our stay. The home made chips alone were worth going for, but the food is excellent... Sitting on a swing is a different way of dining if you are seated on one... Victor and the rest of the staff were great and vibrant... The art they display is also worth taking a look at :)

Some of the best food in Tamarindo, fresh ingredients, friendly staff, quick service, & lovely ambiance (and AIR CONDITIONING HELL YES). There really isn't a reason to not go here. I recommend it to anyone asking me about where to eat, and they always come back happy. If you are visiting Tamarindo, Green Papaya is a must. Everything I order is always delicious and I always leave happy.
Green Papaya is a great taco bar! Cynthia, one of the servers, is so attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is fun with the swings and the food is reasonable. Just remember to bring cash as it is cash only!

Great food and service!! It's worth the stop if you're in Tamarindo, we drove from Brasilito and it was worth the drive.
Sometimes it can be tough to find vegan options in Tamarindo. Green Papaya knocks it out of the park. Awesome, delicious, filling vegan menu! The house chili sauce is unbelievable! Great friendly service along with tasty craft beer! Just amazing all around!
Nothing says the pure life like eating tacos while swinging outside. The food was fresh and tasty. Bring extra money for the band that plays outside. They come out of nowhere playing wonderful music, and it is worth the tip.
My girlfriend and I have eaten here several times on vacation and keep coming back.
The setting is modern with local flavor. The food is simple, fresh and wonderful. The service is prompt even by American standards.
The bartender Nir makes the greatest Cappuccino I have ever had, which goes great with their signature dessert the Chocolate lovers Lava cake.

The green papaya is among the best Costa Rica taco restaurant I went ! The tuna was perfect and the waitresses (I don't know their names) were very friendly !
If you’re in Tamarindo, stopping by the Green Papaya is a must! The staff are all so friendly. The atmosphere is so nice and laid back. You can choose to sit inside or out, but if it’s nice out, totally take advantage of the cool outdoor swing/barstool seating! The food was great! We really enjoyed our dinner there and plan on going back on out next Costa Rican adventure!
We had the best lunch here today. Everyone loved it. The portions were large, food was fantastic, service was great, and the atmosphere wonderful.
